The Gmina Osie is a rural community in the Powiat Świecki of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name ( German Osche ) with about 2850 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality borders the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the north . It is located about ten kilometers north of the district town Świecie (Schwetz) and about 100 km south of the city of Gdansk .
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship . The landscape is shaped by the Tucheler Heide .
