The Gmina Tworóg (German municipality Tworog ) is a rural municipality in the powiat Tarnogórski in the Silesian Voivodeship . The municipality seat is Tworóg .

The municipality is located in northern Upper Silesia and in the west of the powiat Tarnogórski and borders the cities:
- Tarnowskie Góry (Tarnowitz), Lubliniec (Lublinitz) and Kalety (Kalet)
and to the communities:
- Krupski Młyn , Gmina Zbrosławice (Powiat Tarnogórski)
- Koszęcin ( Powiat Lubliniecki )
- Gmina Wielowieś ( Powiat Gliwicki )
