The municipality Wielowieś (German Langendorf ) is a rural municipality (gmina wiejska) in Poland 14 km north of Gliwice . She belongs to the powiat Gliwicki in the Silesian Voivodeship . The parish seat is in Wielowieś and the parish has about 6,000 inhabitants.
There are 13 places and 12 school authorities in the community. Mayor is Ginter Skowronek.

history
In 1990, the community introduced Schulzenämter. Since 1999 the municipality belongs to the powiat Gliwicki and is located in the Silesian Voivodeship . In 2007, the local government moved from its building at 25 Główna Street to the Wielowieś Castle.
