Czarków (German Scharkow ) is an Upper Silesian village in the municipality of Wielowieś , Powiat Gliwicki in the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland .
From 1936 to 1945 Czarków was officially called Sandhuben. Before 1945 the Polish name of the place was Ciarków.
Czarków has 247 inhabitants.
history
In 1945 Sandhuben came under Polish administration.
From 1975 to 1998 Czarków was part of the newly designed Katowice Voivodeship . In 1999 Czarków became part of the new Silesian Voivodeship and the re-established Powiat Gliwicki .
