Dąbrówka (German Dombrowka ) is an Upper Silesian village in the Gmina Wielowieś in the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland .

From 1936 to 1945 Dąbrówka had the official name Steinich.

Dąbrówka has 534 inhabitants. The hamlet of Ubowice belongs to Dąbrówka . Neighboring towns of Dąbrówka are Świbie (Schwieben), Sarnów (Sarnau) and Centawa (Centawa).

history

Today's Dąbrówka was first mentioned in 1277. In 1945 Dombrowka came under Polish administration. The new church was built between 1990 and 1992. From 1975 to 1998 Dąbrówka was in the newly designed Katowice Voivodeship . In 1999 Dąbrówka came to the new Silesian Voivodeship and the re-established Powiat Gliwicki .
