Raduń (German: Colony Radun ) is a place in Upper Silesia . Raduń is located in the municipality of Wielowieś (Langendorf) in the powiat Gliwicki (district of Gliwice) in the Polish Voivodeship of Silesia . Raduń and the neighboring town of Borowiany (Borowian) form a Schulzenamt.
history
In 1865 there were twelve colony sites and nine cottages in the Radun colony.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 24 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 57 for Poland. The Radun colony remained with the German Empire . In 1933 there were 134 inhabitants. On February 12, 1936, the place was renamed Dreitannen . In 1939 the place had 112 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Tost-Gleiwitz .
In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Raduń and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Katowice Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the Silesian Voivodeship and Powiat Gliwicki .
