Hanusek (German: Hanussek ) is a village in Upper Silesia . It is located in the municipality of Tworóg (Tworog) in the Powiat Tarnogórski (Tarnowitz district) in the Silesian Voivodeship .

Hanusek is located six kilometers southeast of the municipality Tworóg , ten kilometers northwest of the district town Tarnowskie Góry (Tarnowitz) and 33 kilometers northwest of the voivodeship capital Katowice (Kattowitz).

The Stoła (tunnel water) and the Graniczna Woda (border water) flow through the village .

history

The place was mentioned in 1783 in the book Beytrage describing Silesia . In 1818 the place was mentioned as Kleinbergerhammer and also as Hanusseck . The place was also called Kleiner Hammer. In 1865 Hanussek consisted of a manor and a village. The Vorwerk Pustki belonged to the manor. The village had three farms, 17 gardeners, three cottages, a Dominialgasthaus and a mill owned and a Zainhammer.

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 46 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 186 for Poland. Hanussek remained with the German Empire . In 1936 the place was renamed Stollenwasser . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Tost-Gleiwitz .

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Hanusek and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Katowice Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Tarnogórski and the new Silesian Voivodeship .
