The Gmina Tsarszyn [ˈzarʂɨn] is a rural municipality in the Powiat Sanocki of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with around 1000 inhabitants.
geography
The community is located in the Sanok lowlands . The neighboring municipalities are Besko, Brzozów, Bukowsko, Haczów, Rymanów and Sanok.
The state road DK 28 , which connects Zator to Przemyśl via Nowy Sącz, runs through the municipality and its main town .
history
In the Gorlice-Tarnów Offensive of the First World War the city Zarszyn 1915 largely destroyed and lost in 1934, the city charter . From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Krosno Voivodeship .
