Goberling ( Hungarian : Góborfalva (old Kapornok ), Romani : Goblina ) is a district of the municipality Stadtschlaining in the district of Oberwart , Burgenland , Austria .

Goberling was mentioned in a document as early as 1279. The mining village is an anger village with approx. 480 inhabitants.

In the Elisabethkirche (also mountain church ), which has a Romanesque building structure, you can see early Gothic frescoes.

From 1659 to 1854, the village was part of the Pinkafeld rule for most of the time . Antimony was mined around Goberling for more than 200 years . Although there is still enough antimony available, the last tunnel in Goberling was closed in 1999. The tunnel consisted of 70 km of shafts. In the Goberling mining museum there are still mementos of coal and antimony mining. A former miner who worked in the mine for 32 years guides through the collection. A replica tunnel is also on display.
