The Gorre is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de l'Étang de Mas , near the hamlet of Le Pré du Lac , in the municipality of Pageas , generally drains north-west through the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park and flows after about 39 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saillat-sur- Vienne and Chassenon as a left tributary into the Vienne . On its way, the Gorre crosses the Haute-Vienne department and flows into the border with the neighboring Charente department .
