Gifts and sales to the Bebenhausen monastery

Gottfried I gave the Bebenhausen monastery, with the consent of his wife and for the sake of his soul, the right of patronage in Echterdingen and the village of Schönaich with all its belonging, with the proviso that, if he had legitimate offspring, the monastery would only stay in the named village for as long after his death should own until it has received 300 marks of silver from its income. On May 15, 1295 he sold the Fronhof and other goods in and near Tübingen to Bebenhausen Monastery.

Roseck Castle

The former Roseck Castle near Unterjesingen was originally probably built by the Count Palatine of Tübingen at the time of the Staufers (1138–1254). It is first mentioned in 1287. Gottfried I was one of the Swabian counts, whose resistance was broken by King Rudolf in 1287, and at that time had to hand over this fortress ( castrum Rosseccke ) to this king .

Kellmünz Castle

Kellmünz Castle belonged to the Count Palatine of Tübingen until the death of Count Palatine Gottfried I. Gottfried I had a daughter named Agnes , who was married to Ulrich von Rechberg the Elder and who received Kellmünz an der Iller and Sindelfingen from her father's inheritance .
