Gouberville is a village and a former French commune of 120 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Cherbourg and the Canton of Val-de-Saire .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Gouberville , Cosqueville , Néville-sur-Mer and Réthoville were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Vicq-sur-Mer and have the status of a Commune déléguée there . The administrative headquarters are in Cosqueville.

The place is on the Cotentin peninsula . A stretch of coastline of the English Channel runs northeast of the settlement . Neighboring towns are Gatteville-le-Phare in the south-east, Tocqueville in the south-west and Néville-sur-Mer in the north-west.
