Vicq-sur-Mer is a French commune with a population of 1,033 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cherbourg and the Canton of Val-de-Saire .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the previous communities of Gouberville , Cosqueville , Néville-sur-Mer and Réthoville . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Cosqueville.
