Rauville-la-Bigot is a French city with a population of 1,153 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cherbourg and the canton of Bricquebec . The inhabitants call themselves Rauvillais .
Geographical location
Rauville-la-Bigot is located about 14 kilometers south-southeast of Cherbourg-Octeville in the center of the Cotentin peninsula . The Douve limits the municipality to the northeast. Rauville-la-Bigot is surrounded by the neighboring communities
