Sideville is a French municipality with 744 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belongs to the canton of Cherbourg-Octeville-3 (until 2015 Équeurdreville-Hainneville ). The inhabitants are called Sidevillais .

Sideville is located on the Cotentin peninsula seven kilometers southwest of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin on the Divette . Sideville's neighboring municipalities are La Hague in the north and northwest, Nouainville in the north, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in the northeast, Martinvast in the east, Hardinvast in the southeast, Couville in the south and Teurthéville-Hague in the west and southwest.
