Sideville is located on the Cotentin peninsula seven kilometers southwest of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin on the Divette . Sideville's neighboring municipalities are La Hague in the north and northwest, Nouainville in the north, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in the northeast, Martinvast in the east, Hardinvast in the southeast, Couville in the south and Teurthéville-Hague in the west and southwest.
