Grosville is located about 26 kilometers south-southwest of Cherbourg near the Atlantic coast on the western side of the Cotentin peninsula . Grosville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sotteville and Bricquebosq in the north, Rauville-la-Bigot in the east, Bricquebec-en-Cotentin in the south and south-east, Saint-Germain-le-Gaillard in the south and south-west, Les Pieux in the west and Benoîtville in the north-west .
