Culture and sights
The Church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption ( Assumption of the Virgin Mary ) was built in the 13th century. In the first half of the 18th century the choir and sacristy were rebuilt. The sacristy bears the year 1716.
In the cemetery belonging to the church there is a limestone cross in the base of which an inscription with the year 1635 is engraved.
In the church itself there is a so-called fame beam that runs across the triumphal arch . A crucifix made of wood, paint and gold stands on the beam . The beam was renewed at the beginning of the 19th century. The sculptor Savary copied the beam of the Church of Cherbourg . The Fame Bar in Blosville has been classified as a Monument historique ('historic monument') since 1959 .
