Hiesville is a French municipality with 65 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) on the peninsula Cotentin in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy .

geography

Hiesville is located on the Cotentin peninsula , eight kilometers north of Carentan in the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Regional Nature Park . The Saint-Côme Saint-Damien church, dedicated to Saints Cosmas and Damian , was built in the 13th century. However, the nave was rebuilt in the 19th century.
