Besneville is a French municipality with 665 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cherbourg and the Canton of Bricquebec .
It borders Fierville-les-Mines to the north-west, Saint-Jacques-de-Néhou to the north, Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte to the east, Taillepied and Neuville-en-Beaumont to the south, and Canville-la to the south -Rocque and in the southwest at Port-Bail-sur-Mer with Portbail .
