Anne Luise Müller (* 1951 in Erlangen ) is a German Dipl.-Ing . Architect and urban planner. From 2001 to May 2019 she headed the Cologne City Planning Office .

Live and act

Anne Luise Müller grew up in Munich and Frankfurt am Main . From 1971 to 1973 she studied architecture at the TU Berlin . After completing her intermediate diploma in Berlin, she continued her studies at the TU Darmstadt in 1973 , which she completed with the main diploma examination in 1978.

From 1978 to 1988 she worked as an architect and urban planning architect in Hamburg and Nuremberg architecture offices with public planning, such as the embassy in Moscow and the Uelzen district court . From 1988 to 1993 Müller worked in the city planning office in Erlangen, taking over the office for urban renovation and urban development. In 1993 he was headed the Ingolstadt urban planning office with the areas of land-use planning and land regulation , urban redevelopment and urban development subsidies as well as housing subsidies ; the sphere of activity of the lower monument protection authority was also transferred to her. From November 15, 2001 to the end of May 2019, Anne Luise Müller headed the Cologne City Planning Office.

Between 1992 and 2002 Müller held teaching positions: at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg for urban design and at the Institute for City and Regional Management e. V. Ingolstadt for the basics of planning and building law. Müller is a member of the Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Architects. She represents the city of Cologne in the German Association of Cities (Expert Commission Urban Planning / Commission Women in the City).
