It belongs to the canton of Cherbourg-Octeville-3 (until 2015 Équeurdreville-Hainneville ). The inhabitants are called Teurthévillais .

Teurthéville-Hague is located on the Cotentin peninsula eight kilometers southwest of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin . Neighboring municipalities of Teurthéville-Hague are La Hague in the north, Sideville in the east, Virandeville in the south and south-east, Saint-Christophe-du-Foc and Sotteville in the south, Helleville in the south-west and Héauville in the west and south-west.
