The three Graefliche Kliniken in Bad Driburg and one each in Bad Klosterlausnitz and Jena (a health resort or a large city in Thuringia ) are an amalgamation of five specialist rehabilitation clinics. In internal medicine, cardiological , angiological and gastroenterological patients who do not require intensive care are treated. Two intensive care beds are available to ensure emergency therapy . The focus is on the treatment of heart attack , liver and ostomy patients . Orthopedics focuses on the rehabilitation of patients with limb and joint diseases, spinal column diseases, accidental and sports injuries as well as pain therapy. Therapy is medicated, but also alternatively by means of physical and physiotherapy, acupuncture , chiropractic therapy and neural therapy .

A special feature of the clinic is the sports therapy center, where not only patients but also those interested in health can have health checks carried out. The specialist clinic is located right next to the Driburg Therme near the Count's Park .

Marcus Clinic

The Marcus Clinic in Bad Driburg was rededicated during its construction phase in 1982 due to the health reform at the time. The owners and planners deviated from the plans of a pure health clinic and, in addition to the area of ​​orthopedics, also installed the indication neurology on the recommendation of the then Federal Insurance Institute for employees . Until then, this specialist area was not represented in the rehabilitation sector.

The main focus of the 136-bed department is the rehabilitation of patients with spinal diseases and all subsequent conditions after spinal surgery, but also joint diseases, pain syndromes and osteoporosis .

In 1993 the Moritz Klinik opened as part of the Aufbau Ost project in Bad Klosterlausnitz, Thuringia . It was initiated by the company owner at the time, Caspar Graf von Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff, as the third clinic in the group of companies specializing in neurology and orthopedics. Shortly after the opening of the Moritz Klinik, the then head physician Lutz Brückner, one of the few amputation specialists in Germany, founded an independent department for the rehabilitation of amputated patients and for prosthetic care . In addition, the Moritz Klinik has specialized in the rehabilitation of burn injuries since 1998 .

The Moritz Klinik team treats patients after all neurological operations on the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves , including benign and malignant neoplasms in the nervous system. The orthopedic department of the Moritz Clinic has 120 beds for follow-up rehabilitation, therapeutic procedures and professional in-patient further treatment. In the Moritz Klinik, all injuries and degenerative diseases as well as conditions after operations on the postural and musculoskeletal system are rehabilitated. Patients with functional disorders of the movement segment of the spine are also treated here.

Park Clinic

In 1924 the Barmer Ersatzkasse became aware of Hermannsborn while looking for a property as a spa and recreation home for its insured persons and acquired the town in the Bad Driburg district of Pömbsen . In 1925 the clinic was opened as a spa and convalescent home. The building has the style of a neo-baroque castle with associated colonnades . The portal is based on the architectural style of 19th century German classicism . The complex consists of a main building, a two-wing gate system and other buildings for agriculture, gardening and garages, which are still preserved today. In 1967 the health resort and convalescent home became a health clinic with a new bathhouse with an exercise pool, gymnastics rooms and facilities for medical and physical applications. In the 1980s, Barmer developed the spa clinic further into a specialist rehabilitation clinic with a focus on heart disease and diabetology . Park Klinik has been part of the Graf von Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff group of companies since September 1, 2006. Today the clinic has 216 beds.

In the cardiology department , patients are treated after heart operations, after a heart attack or with high blood pressure that is difficult to control. Four intensive care beds are available to ensure emergency therapy. Special emphasis is placed on the rehabilitation of patients with chronic heart failure and after implantation of a defibrillator or pacemaker . The Park Klinik Bad Hermannsborn specializes in the treatment of people with diabetes mellitus and is recognized by the German Diabetes Society (DDG) as a treatment facility for type 1 and type 2 diabetics. A special focus is on the treatment of patients with a combination of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, which is why the clinic is also allowed to hold the certificate "AHB clinic for diabetics with heart disease".
