Grasshopper Cup 2018

The Grasshopper Cup 2018 took place from March 14th to 18th, 2018 in Zurich , Switzerland . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 100 category .

Last year's winner was Grégory Gaultier , who reached the semi-finals. In the final, Ramy Ashour and Mohamed Elshorbagy met each other, which Ashour won with 11: 8, 11: 9 and 11: 6.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eighth best players have been seeded. Per Wildcard received Nicolas Müller a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 100,000.
