Greg Travis

Gregory Lloyd Travis (born July 31, 1958 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actor , screenwriter and comedian . His acting career began at the age of twelve.

Life

Travis' first acting experiences began on stage at a young age . In the theater production America the Bizarre he played seven different characters, including the leading role .

During his career, Travis has worked with film directors such as Zack Snyder , David Lynch and Bob Rafelson . As a filmmaker, Travis has directed over 25 short film productions and three full-length films. The most famous film that he wrote the script and directed was Midlife .

Travis became well known as a stand-up comedian for his role as David Sleaze, the Punk Magician , which appeared frequently on HBO . He has appeared in many famous comedy clubs in the United States. The Los Angeles Times wrote that his comedic appearances as a comedian were downright exhilarating and magical.

Travis starred in films such as Showgirls and Starship Troopers . He was also seen in individual episodes in many well-known television series . These include CSI: Miami , Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten , Strong Medicine: Two doctors like Fire and Ice and American Gothic - Prince of Darkness . He took on more important roles in films such as Jeff Broadstreet's Night of the Living Dead 3D .

His younger sister Stacey Travis is also an actress.
