Stacey Travis

Stacey Elaine Travis (born August 29, 1964 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actress .

Life

Stacey attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and graduated in film. Since 1988 she has appeared in more than 70 film and television productions, often in minor supporting roles.

Stacey is a member of the Echo Theater Company . With her theater group Huggermugger she appeared as Countess Orsini in Lessing's drama Emilia Galotti and in Victorien Sardous' A Scrap of Paper .

In 2000 she played Helena 's friend in a smaller role in Traffic - Power of the Cartel . In the Parker Family series, she plays Ralphie's mother in A Christmas Story 2 .

Her older brother Greg Travis is a well-known actor and comedian in Los Angeles .
