Gregor Marstaller

Gregor Marstaller (born August 13, 1984 in Denzlingen ) is a German theater and film actor and theater educator.

Life

Gregor Marstaller grew up in Denzlingen. As a pupil he had various appearances at the Emmendingen open-air theater , the Theater AG of the Erasmus-Gymnasium in Denzlingen and the Waldkirch theater association . After his school education, he attended the drama school in Freiburg from 2003 to 2007 . In 2010 he completed further training as a film actor at Norbert Ghafouri's “Coaching Company Berlin” in Berlin, and in 2012 he trained as a play director according to theater pedagogical guidelines at the “Social Pedagogical Institute 'Walter May'” (SPI) in Berlin.

During his acting training he appeared several times as a theater actor in the “TheaterKammerspiele im E-Werk” (KIEW) at the Freiburg Drama School. He was featured as Er in Tucholsky's Everything Because of Lilly (2004; director: Grete Linz), as Falstaff in Shakespeare's Die Lustigen Frauen von Windsor (2005) and as Rico in Helmut Krausser's stop. Geister (2006, directed by Grete Linz).

After graduating from the drama school in Freiburg he was a. a. In 2008 at the Theater für Niedersachsen as Lützel in the children's and youth play In a deep, dark forest by Paul Maar . From 2009 to 2012 he held several roles at the "theaterforum kreuzberg" in Berlin: He was involved in several roles in Eugène Ionesco's Hunger und Durst (2009), as a grandfather in Ionesco's Jacob or Submission (2010/2011 season) and in 2012 as Francois de Crancey in the play Is he good? Is he bad? (The philanthropist) by Denis Diderot / Hans Magnus Enzensberger .

From 2012 to 2015 Gregor Marstaller toured in the leading role as Meister Ton in the plays Meister Ton und die Melodiemaschine and Die Liedfee and the swing dance for the mobile Berlin children's music theater "Theater aus dem Koffer" through Berlin and Brandenburg . In 2013 he was seen at the TheaterForum Kreuzberg under the direction of Anemone Poland as Gustav Brändle in the German premiere of the play Der Wolf im Korb by Roger Vitrac ; In 2013 he also played Thomas Settergren in Pippi Longstocking at the Berlin Children's Theater . In 2016 and 2017 Gregor Marstaller also worked for TUI Cruises Entertainment as an actor on Mein Schiff 2.

Gregor Marstaller has been a guide for Historix-Tours Freiburg since 2014 in various drama tours.

Gregor Marstaller has been regularly involved in the prevention programs "My body belongs to me" since 2018 and since 2019 in "the big no-bin" of the Osnabrück theater pedagogical workshop in the southern Baden area at primary schools as an actor and theater pedagogue working against sexual violence against children

Marstaller has been involved in films and short films since 2005 and was also a speaker. He played the leading role as Heinrich in the coming-of-age film Schwalbennest (2011) and as Daniel in the independent film Marks of Weakness by Markus Messner.

In 2017 Gregor Marstaller was seen as a bachelor in the Stuttgart crime scene "Stau".
