The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix for motorcycles is a motorcycle race for the motorcycle world championship .
It will take place on September 20, 2020 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Misano Adriatico , Italy .

Due to the rampant COVID-19 pandemic , various races of the 2020 Motorcycle World Championship have been canceled or postponed. At the beginning of June 2020, Dorna Sports , the organizer of the world championship, published a revised racing calendar u. a. with two races within a week in Misano.
After the classes Moto2 and Moto3 at the Grand Prix of Qatar already on March 8 had extended their first World Championship race, the July 19 by-19 COVID shortened season started with the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuito de Jerez . The San Marino Grand Prix is planned for September 13, 2020 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli and the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix is scheduled to take place on the following weekend.
