Bremgarten circuit

The Swiss Grand Prix for motorcycles was a motorcycle race that was held a total of 25 times between 1922 and 1959 and was part of the motorcycle world championship between 1949 and 1954 .

history

The Grand Prix was held for the first time in 1922 and took place as part of the motorcycle world championship in 1949 and from 1951 until circuit racing in Switzerland was banned in 1954 in Bremgarten in Bern and in 1950 on the Circuit des Nations in Geneva .

The Swiss Grand Prix was planned for 1939 on a new route in Schwamendingen . However, the race was canceled due to the outbreak of World War II .
