The European Grand Prix for motorcycles was a motorcycle race that was held five times between 1991 and 1995 and was part of the motorcycle world championship .

The race took place in 1991 on the Circuito del Jarama near Madrid as a replacement for the Yugoslav Grand Prix, which was canceled due to the outbreak of the war in Yugoslavia . From 1992 to 1995 the Grand Prix was held on the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona in Spain .

Record winners are the Italians Max Biaggi and Luca Cadalora as well as the American Wayne Rainey , who each won the race three times.
