Madrid Grand Prix (motorcycle)
The Madrid Grand Prix for motorcycles was a motorcycle race for the motorcycle world championship .
It took place only once, on June 14, 1998 on the Circuito del Jarama near San Sebastián de los Reyes near Madrid and was held as a replacement for the Portuguese Grand Prix , as the circuito do Estoril was designed for it by the FIM had not been homologated .
In the 125 cm³ class, the Italian Lucio Cecchinello celebrated the first Grand Prix victory of his career.
