Guns, God and Government World Tour ( English for " weapons, God and Government World Tour ") is a video and live album by the American rock band Marilyn Manson . It was released on October 29, 2002 on DVD on the Eagle Rock Entertainment label. On November 16, 2009, the album was also released on Blu-ray . The video album is approved by the FSK from the age of 16.

The video album contains recordings from the Guns, God and Government Tour of the same name , on which the band played over 100 concerts worldwide from October 27, 2000 to September 2, 2001. The recorded performances of the DVD version were played in the United States, Russia, Japan, and Europe. The Blu-ray version released in 2009, however, contains the recordings of a single concert in Los Angeles , whereby The Death Song is not included.
Both releases also contain the short film The Death Parade , which offers a look behind the scenes of the tour and shows cameos by artists such as Ozzy Osbourne , Joey Jordison and Eminem in addition to the band members .

The album was produced by front man Marilyn Manson in association with Geoff Foulkes, Mark Hurry and Daniel Catullo III, who each served as executive producers . Directed by Perou, Duncan Black, JT Harding, Steve Macauley and Blue Leach.
Cover design
The album cover shows Marilyn Manson's typically brightly made-up face. He looks at the viewer seriously and has a white contact lens in one eye. In front of his face are the red letters Marilyn Manson and Guns, God and Government World Tour . The background is black.

Guns, God and Government World Tour entered the German album charts at number 75 for a week on November 18, 2002. In the Netherlands, the video album reached number 21 on the charts, while in the United States it was listed on the music video charts and occupied the top there.
Sales figures and awards
In 2004 Guns, God and Government World Tour received a gold record for more than 25,000 units sold in Germany . The album was also awarded gold for over 25,000 sales in the UK in 2007. In the United States, the video album went platinum for more than 100,000 copies sold in 2007.
