György Mitró
György Mitró [ ˈɟørɟ ˈmitroː ] (born March 6, 1930 in Nyíregyháza , † January 4, 2010 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian swimmer .
At the Olympic Games in London he won the silver medal with the Hungarian 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. He also won the bronze medal over 1500 m. At the European Championships in 1947 he was previously able to secure the 1500 m title.
