Björn Borg (swimmer)
Björn Borg (born November 14, 1919 in Örby , Västra Götalands län ; † April 13, 2009 in Zurich ) was a Swedish swimmer .
Borg started for the Norrköpings KK . At the 1936 Summer Olympics he was part of the Swedish Olympic team. With the 4x200m freestyle relay he reached the 8th place in the end.
At the European Swimming Championships in 1938 he was European champion over 400 m freestyle and over 1500 m freestyle. In his career he set five European records. He was also awarded the Svenska Dagbladet gold medal in 1938.
