Emiliano Brembilla (born December 21, 1978 in Ponte San Pietro ) is a former Italian swimmer.

Career

His parade routes are the 400 m and 1500 m freestyle, on which he achieved his greatest successes. Between 1997 and 2004 he was European champion four times over 400 m. In 1997 he also won the 1500 m freestyle title.

In 1997 he was voted Europe's swimmer of the year .

In 2008, together with Massimiliano Rosolino , Nicola Cassio and Filippo Magnini, he won the bronze medal at the World Short Course Championships in Manchester over the 4 × 200 m freestyle.
