Coordinates: 55 ° 51 '  N , 13 ° 40'  O Hörby is a municipality ( Swedish kommun ) in the southern Swedish province Skane Lan and the historical province Scania . The main town of the municipality is Hörby .

history

Hörby developed into a trading center as early as the early Middle Ages . In the 17th century the place received an inn and in the 18th century it became a market place. Around 1880 Hörby became a railway junction, making it an important local center. The church dates from the 12th century and was rebuilt around 1890.

Hörby was "all the rage" as a mayor for the first time in Sweden in autumn 2018 Sweden Democrats would have to be used. However, this had to withdraw because of previous posts on social media.
