The location Habbach (old spelling: Habic ) belongs to the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Haan in the Mettmann district and goes back to an old court . Habbach is part of the Gruiten district .

The Hofschaft, also known as Gut Habbach, is located in the east of Haans near the municipal border with Wuppertal on Hahnenfuhrter Weg . Pit 7 is to the east of the village .

history

In 1832 Habbach belonged to the Schöller community in the rural outskirts of the community of Schöller in the mayor's office of Haan in the Elberfeld district . According to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , the place categorized as a house was designated as Habbach and at that time owned a residential house and an agricultural building. At that time there were six people living in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

At the end of the 19th century, Habbach belonged to the independent community of Gruiten .
