Klevenhof was a court in Haan and belonged to the former independent municipality of Obgruiten . Today the place is a desert .

The living space was in the far east of Haans near the municipal border with Wuppertal on the western edge of the Osterholz forest area and north of pit 10 , where limestone was mined.

Neighboring locations were: (In the municipality of Wuppertals) Osterholz , Alt-Derken , Schrotzberg and Wüst fallen Steeg . In Haan were neighboring: Birschels and meanwhile also desolate fallen Mühlenfeld , Isenberg and Vogelsang .

history

Little is known about the history of the residential area, other name variants were "Klevenhaus" and "Kleeffenhauß".

On the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and the Prussian first survey of 1843, the place is not yet recorded, for the first time Klevenhof is recorded on the topographic map (TK25) 1892/94 as "Clevenhof" and in the spelling "Klevenhof" for the first time on the map from 1927. The location was then recorded until 1968, Klevenhof is more recorded on the map from 1974 and the residential area was razed.

Today the place is forested, according to topographical maps from 1988 three pear trees are placed under protection as a natural monument . A spring south of the village, which feeds a tributary of the Bausenberger Bach, is now protected as a natural monument.
