İbrahim Halil Çolak (born June 29, 1988 in Deventer ) is a Dutch - Turkish football player .

Career

Halil Çolak was born in Deventer as the son of Turkish guest workers . Here he started with club football in the youth of IJsselstreek and later moved to the youth of Go Ahead Eagles Deventer . The last thing he went to was the FC Twente Enschede youth team .

At Twente Enschede he received a professional contract in the spring of 2008, but was transferred to the Eerste Divisie club SC Cambuur for match practice . By the end of the season, he made eleven league games and scored one goal.

He spent the new season on loan from his former club, Go Ahead Eagles . Here he scored six goals in 23 league games. With this service he then moved to Go Ahead Eagles for the 2009/10 season, including the transfer . In his second season he was able to further improve his performance. With ten goals in 27 players, however, had a large part in the fact that his club made it to the play-off semi-finals of the Eerste Divisie and missed promotion to the Eredivisie here in the penultimate instance .

At that time he was being watched massively by the scout Galatasaray Istanbul and an offer was made to him. The change then ultimately failed.

In the summer of 2011, Çolak surprisingly came to an agreement with the Turkish first division club Kasımpaşa Istanbul and signed a 5-year contract here. Here he received little attention from coach Yılmaz Vural and only made two league games as a substitute under him.

During the winter break, Kasımpaşa replaced coach Vural with Fuat Çapa . Çapa worked as a trainer in the Netherlands for several years and tried to get Çolak to join his club at the time, MVV Maastricht . This transfer did not come about due to the attitude of the club management. Under Çapa, Çolak made the leap into the regular formation. He scored five goals in 18 league games by the end of the season and was one of the shooting stars of the second half of the season. After his club failed to keep relegation, Çolak went with his club in the TFF 1st Lig .

At the end of March 2014, Kasımpaşa prematurely terminated Çolak's contract, which was still valid until May 2015, and justified this decision with the fact that the player had shown behavior that did not match the club's rules and philosophy.

For the season he was committed by the first division club Akhisar Belediyespor . From this club he was loaned to the second division club Şanlıurfaspor for the second half of the 2015/16 season. After returning from Şanlıurfaspor in the summer of 2016, his contract with Akhisar Belediyespor was prematurely terminated.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to third division club İstanbulspor .
