society

Tandoğan began his professional career with the then second division club Yeni Salihlispor . In January 1998 he committed Denizlispor , where he played five years and completed 151 games. Among other things, he was part of the team that reached the round of 16 in the UEFA Cup in the 2002/03 season. For the 2003/04 season Tandoğan moved to the capital to Gençlerbirliği Ankara .

In the 2005/2006 season he moved from Gençlerbirliği Ankara to Beşiktaş Istanbul for a transfer fee of one million euros . His time in Istanbul went well under the direction of Ertuğrul Sağlam . However, after he resigned from Beşiktaş, Tandoğan no longer played a role in Mustafa Denizli's plans. He then left Beşiktaş Istanbul in the winter break of the 2008/09 season and moved to Bursaspor , where his former coach Ertuğrul Sağlam was active. Here Tandoğan was surprisingly champion with the club.

For the 2011/12 season Tandoğan moved to the Süper Lig team Antalyaspor . While he was a regular player in his first season at Antalyaspor, he lost it in the 2012/13 season and played twelve league and seven cup games throughout the season.

After his contract with Antalyaspor expired in the summer, he left the club and moved to the second division Mersin İdman Yurdu . At this club he was chosen by his head coach Hakan Kutlu as team captain. With his team Tandoğan ended the season as a playoff winner and thus achieved direct promotion back to the Süper Lig.

For the 2014/15 season he moved to the second division side Adana Demirspor . For this club he only played the first half of the season and switched to league rivals Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor during the 2014/15 winter break . At the end of the 2015/16 season, Tandoğan announced the end of his active career.

National team

Tandoğan began his national team career in 1998 with a commitment for the Turkish U-21 national team . He was then nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team in 2002 and 2003 .

In 2004 he was nominated several times for the Turkish senior national team by the then national coach Ersun Yanal , who was considered a great supporter of Tandoğan and with whom he had already worked several times as a club trainer, and gave his first in the friendship match on May 21, 2004 against the Australian national team and at the same time the only international match.

Coaching career

Tandoğan started his coaching career by starting to work as a youth coach for Istanbul fourth division Beylerbeyi SK in the 2015/16 season .

During the summer break of 2016, Tandoğan took over the post of sporting director at his former club Denizlispor . During his new job, he attended a coaching course in Istanbul to officially work as head coach. After Selahattin Dervent was fired in October 2016, Tandoğan was appointed as the new head coach. In April 2017 he left the association by mutual consent.

In August 2017 he was introduced as the new head coach at Şanlıurfaspor . In this position he was active until February 2018 and then from November 2018 to July 2019. For the 2019/20 season, the second division Balıkesirspor will hire him as their new head coach.
