Hanno Busch (* 25. August 1975 in Wuppertal ) is a German jazz - guitarist .

life and work

Busch studied jazz guitar in Hilversum and Amsterdam . From 2003 to 2005 he was part of re: jazz , with whom he also toured. From January 2007 to January 2017 he was the guitarist of heavytones , the band of the former television show TV total . As a live and studio musician, he accompanied Sasha , Peter Kraus and Max Mutzke, among others .

With Jonas Burgwinkel , drums, and Claus Fischer , bass, he works as the “Hanno Busch Trio”, which released its album Absent in 2014 , followed by Share This Room (2017). Together with Tobias Philippen , Florian Bungardt and Claus Fischer he formed his quartet Sommerplatte , which released his first album Sommerplatte in 2013 .

He also plays in Niels Klein's Tubes & Wires , with whom he also recorded, and Jesse Milliner & Band; he toured with Peter Less , the NDR Bigband feat. Bobby McFerrin , Peter Herbolzheimer's Rhythm Combination & Brass and with Oliver Leicht . In 2010 he performed at Jazz Baltica with Michael Wollny and Tamar Halperin . He can also be heard on albums by Bosse , Ana Bonfim, Nana Mouskouri , Peter Licht and Gregor Meyle .

He plays in Cosmo Klein's projects The Campers and Phunkguerilla .
