Hans-Peter Waldrich
Hans-Peter Waldrich (born April 3, 1944 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German educator , political scientist and science journalist .
Life and activity
After graduating from high school on the second educational path, he first studied political science - shaped by the 68s - followed by philosophy, German studies and geography in Munich, Freiburg and Frankfurt / Main.
After obtaining a diploma in political science and the first and second state examinations for teaching at grammar schools, he received his doctorate from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung under the political scientist Iring Fetscher with a thesis on the understanding of democracy of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED). phil. The idea of democracy - so the basic statement - is transformed into ideological speculation by the SED and stands in stark contrast to the approach of the older Marxist social democracy to which the SED invoked.
Hans-Peter Waldrich worked at a number of educational institutions, including an Evangelical Academy, various high schools, the Federal Office for Civil Service , and as a research assistant or lecturer at the University of Education and the University of Karlsruhe .
As part of the resistance against the so-called retrofitting , he founded the "Friedenskreis Karlsruhe eV" in 1983, which organized the 1984 Peace Congress of Social Scientists at the University of Karlsruhe.
From 2008 to 2012 he was state chairman of the Aktion Humane Schule Baden-Württemberg e. V. As a committed critic of the conventional German school system, Waldrich published one of the first studies on the phenomenon of school rampage . After the rampage in Winnenden , in which 16 people died, he became a member of the board of the “Winnender Foundation against Violence in Schools”. Waldrich stands for a sociologically networked approach in the interpretation of the amok phenomenon and against an individualistic isolating pathologization of the perpetrators.
Stimulated by his interest in limit states, expansion of consciousness and border issues between science and spirituality, Waldrich took part in a long-term group that experimented with psychoactive substances (hallucinogens). He got to know the process of so-called psycholytic psychotherapy . Waldrich processed his own, not unproblematic experiences, but also the considerable problems that other participants had in the context of psycholytic psychotherapies.
Waldrich writes for the Friday , new Germany , sheets for German and international politics , Ossietzky , spw - magazine for socialist politics and economy , formerly also for the month , German general Sunday paper , German people newspaper , spontaneous , links, the voice of the community and boy Voice.
