Hans Baumann (born March 23, 1875 in Amberg , † August 5, 1951 in Frohnloh ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ). He was chief general labor leader and also a member of the German Reichstag from 1933 to 1945 .

Life

Baumann went to the elementary school a human High School and entered 1894 as a cadet in the Bavarian 5. Chevaulegers - Regiment one. After the war school he was promoted to lieutenant in 1896 . In 1909 he was Rittmeister and from 1914 to 1916 squadron chief. From 1916 to 1918 he was a battalion leader in three Bavarian reserve infantry regiments. On January 1, 1920, he was accepted into the resulting NSDAP and in the same year retired from active military service as a major . From 1920 he worked as a farmer on a farm in Frohnloh.

From 1932 to 1933 Baumann was a quarry worker for the Voluntary Labor Service (FAD) in the Gau Munich-Upper Bavaria . In April 1933 he became district leader of the FAD Bayern-Ost. Baumann became Gauarbeitsführer on October 5, 1933 and was also Arbeitsgaufführer of Arbeitsgaus XXX Bayern-Hochland (Munich) until August 31, 1940. Later he was general labor leader and as chief general labor leader he resigned from the labor service on August 31, 1940. Baumann represented constituency 30 from 1933 to 1936 and from 1936 constituency 24 in the German Reichstag.
