Hans Heinz Theyer

Hans Heinz Theyer (born August 5, 1910 in Vienna ; † October 18, 1961 there ) was an Austrian cameraman .

The son of the Austrian camera pioneer Hans Theyer studied like his father at the graphic teaching and research institute in Vienna. From 1926 to 1937 he was an assistant in feature films directed by Willi Forst . From 1939 until the end of the Second World War , he was a war correspondent for the German Air Force as a photographer . He then ended up in Soviet captivity, from which he was released in 1948. From 1949 he was a cameraman for numerous films by Franz Antels .
