Hans Matthee
Hans Matthee (born October 17, 1899 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † September 13, 1969 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( DDP , CDU ).
Hans Matthee was the son of a postal inspector and attended high school . After high school , he was in the First World War in 1917 confiscated and fell into French captivity . He studied from 1920 at the University of Konigsberg law and laid in 1924 the state examination from. In 1925 he received his doctorate from the University of Breslau for Dr. jur. Matthee was admitted to the bar at the Königsberg Higher Regional Court in 1928 and became a notary in Königsberg in 1937. First he was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1939 , but in the following year he tried to go to justice. The President of the Königsberg Higher Regional Court, Max Draeger, rejects this request, as Matthee did not become a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). In 1942 he was drafted into the East Prussian Provincial Administration in Königsberg and then transferred to the position of Inspector General for German Roads in Berlin.
After the Second World War Matthee working since 1945 in the legal office of the district office Weissensee . In 1947 he became a lawyer and notary in the Berlin Court District. In 1948 its activities were terminated by an order from the Soviet headquarters . He then moved to the legal office of the ( West Berlin ) district office of Tiergarten and joined the CDU. A year later he became the chairman of the CDU Tiergarten. In the Berlin election in 1950 , Matthee was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. He was also re-elected in the following election in 1954 , but left in April 1957 because he became director of the Berlin Compensation Office. His successor in parliament was then Siegmund Weltlinger . Matthee retired in 1964 and became a lawyer in Berlin again.
He was a member of the Catholic student union KStV Borussia-Königsberg Cologne, KStV Tannenberg-Königsberg Berlin and KStV Askania-Burgundia Berlin .
