Hans Rohe

Hans Rohe (* 15. December 1931 in Coesfeld , † 7. January 2003 in Minden ) was a German politician of the SPD and trade union official.

Life and work

Hans Rohe attended elementary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith and blacksmith, which he completed in 1949 with the journeyman's examination. From 1950 to 1958 he worked as a mine fitter in the Meissen colliery .

Political party

Since 1955 Hans Rohe was a member of the SPD and from 1973 to 1990 sub-district chairman of the SPD in the Minden-Lübbecke district .

From 1950 Hans Rohe was a member of the IG Bergbau und Energie trade union and from 1958 trade union secretary. From 1960 to 1985 he was executive chairman of the German Federation of Trade Unions in the Minden-Lübbecke district.

As part of the regional reform , the Minden district was merged with the Lübbecke district on January 1, 1973 to form the new Minden-Lübbecke district.
