Christoph Bosse

August Julius Christoph Bosse (born January 22, 1863 in Roßla ; † December 23, 1950 in Göttingen ) was a German government official and member of parliament.

From 1892 to 1905 Christoph Bosse was district administrator in the Prussian district of Minden in Westphalia .

Life

Christoph Bosse was born in 1863 as the son of royal Prussia. Education Minister Robert Bosse (1832–1901) and Julie Auguste Alwine Lindenbein (1835–1900) were born. He studied law and art history at the University of Göttingen and passed the examinations to become a court trainee and government assessor. In 1881 he became active in the Gottinga community of Göttingen . He was also a member of the Landsmannschaft Silesia Greifswald . Christoph Bosse was a volunteer soldier in the 2nd Hessian Infantry Regiment No. 82 in Göttingen and later became Premier Lieutenant in the reserve of this regiment. From 1883 to 1892 he worked at various courts and government agencies, since 1890 at the district office in Minden . In 1892 he was entrusted with the administration of the district office in Minden and on April 4, 1893, he was finally appointed district administrator of the Minden district. On December 28, 1905, Christoph Bosse was entrusted with the management of the position of administrative director of the royal museums in Berlin and was appointed administrative director on June 28, 1906. In 1913 he became a curator at the University of Greifswald . Upon reaching the age limit, Christoph Bosse retired on March 31, 1928. From 1904 to 1908 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Minden 1 (Minden - Lübbecke).

Christoph Bosse was a Protestant and married.
