Heinrich Wehking (born February 2, 1899 in Friedewalde-Wegholm , † June 18, 1984 in Munich ) was a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Wehking was born the son of a farmer. After completing primary school and attending agricultural school, he worked as a farmer in the seed industry. In 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . He became managing director of a breeding cooperative, took over the management of his parents' business in Friedewalde-Wegholm and acted as an appraiser and expert in the German potato industry. He was also the managing director and valuer of the Westphalian Provincial Fire Society, deputy chairman of the agricultural association in the Minden district and since 1949 a member of the Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture . In addition, he was a member of the Confessing Church and the district synod of the Evangelical Church in Minden, the regional synod of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia and from 1961 to 1967 of the Synod of the Evangelical Church in Germany .

Political party

Wehking joined the CDU in 1946 and was elected chairman of the CDU district association in Minden.

MP

Wehking had been a council member of the Friedewalde community since 1932. Since 1945 he was repeatedly a member of the Petershagen office . In March 1946 he was elected to the district council of the Minden district. From 1947 to 1954 he was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1965. He was always drawn into parliament via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Public offices

Wehking served from 1946 to 1948 and from 1952 to 1956 as district administrator for the Minden district.
