Hans Sisa

Hans Sisa (born March 30, 1948 in Linz ) is an Austrian painter , sculptor and opera singer (bass).

Life

Hans Sisa studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg . For many years he worked both as an opera singer (bass) and as a painter. Since the turn of the millennium, the work as a visual artist has been in the foreground.

Sisa lives and works in Tiefenfucha near Krems on the Danube . He is the initiator of the painters' festivals at Reichenstein Castle (Mühlviertel) in Upper Austria, which have been held every three years since 1997.

The works are signed as follows: until 1989 Hans Pötscher or HPö, 1989–2000 Hans Sisa Pötscher, since 2000 Hans Sisa or Sisa.
