Hanspeter Gschwend
Hanspeter Gschwend (born March 28, 1945 in Biel ) is a Swiss writer and radio journalist .
He studied history and German in Bern and Vienna . From 1972 to 1978 he was planning secretary for an Aargau university for educational sciences. Until 2008 he was an editor, then a freelancer for Swiss Radio DRS for politics, society, culture and topicality in Italian-speaking Switzerland . Since 2014 the author of dramatic, narrative and essayistic texts, non-fiction books and biographies has concentrated on literary work.

- 1979: Radio Play Prize of the Canton of Bern
- 1992: Radio Play Prize from the Radio Basel Foundation for Blank
- 1995: Prix Suisse for Code Execute
- 1997: Prix Europa for The Olympic Dealer as the best European radio play in 1997
- 2000: Prize of the Swiss Schiller Foundation (for all radio plays)
