Szjapan Michailawitsch Haratscheuskich ( Belarusian Сцяпан Міхайлавіч Гарачэўскіх , Russian Степан Михайлович Горячевских / Stepan Mikhailovich Gorjatschewskich * 26. June 1985 in Nizhnekamsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since June 2018 at CS PROGYM GHEORGHENI under contract.
Career
Szjapan Haratscheuskich began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2003/04 season . The goalkeeper then received a contract with HK Junost Minsk , for which he stood between the posts for the next six years in the Belarusian extra league, and initially in parallel for its second team HK Junior Minsk in the second Belarusian league. With Junost Minsk, the Belarusian national player won the national championship in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009, the national cup competition in 2004 and the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in 2007 . In addition, he failed in the 2007/08 season with his team only in the playoff final at city neighbor HK Keramin Minsk .
For the 2009/10 season Haratscheuskich was committed by HK Schachzjor Salihorsk from the Extraliga. There he began the following season and finished it as a regular goalkeeper at HK Donbass Donetsk , with whom he was Ukrainian champion . In the 2011/12 season he played with Donbass in the Vysschaya Hockey League , the second Russian division.
In September 2013 he moved within the WysHL to HK Saryarka Karaganda and won the championship of this division with the club from Qaraghandy 2014. He impressed both in the regular season and in the play-offs, with an average goal conceded well below 2.00 and with a catch rate of over 92%. After this success he was committed by HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk , in which he was able to prevail and with 29 inserts completed most of the games of the four goalkeepers used by the club. Therefore, in June 2015, he and Kirill Putilow were signed by HK Lada Tolyatti . There he could not prevail, however, and moved to the Kazakh league for HK Arlan Kökschetau in August of the same year .
International
For Belarus , Haratscheuskich took part in the U20 Junior World Championships in 2005 and the World Championships in 2005 , 2006 , 2007 and 2008 . Furthermore, he was in Belarus' squad to qualify for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
